UFO's Over Texas and Beyond

Enough people saw the lights of the unidentified flying object over Stephenville on Jan 8, 2008 to lay claim to the idea that UFOs do exist! Of course the government denies that UFOs exist and they have made that same statement since the UFO crash in Roswell, New Mexico on July 2,1947.

Several dozen credible people saw the large silent object flying low and very fast with bright lights on. A Stephenville resident said he saw a flat, metallic object hovering about 300 feet over a pasture near his home. Another said the object was a mile long and a half mile wide. No one in the known world can say they have an aircraft or spacecraft  that size!

Officials at the two nearby Air Force bases — Dyess in Abilene and Sheppard in Wichita Falls — also said none of their aircraft were in the area that week. The Air Force no longer investigates UFOs.

About 200 UFO sightings are reported each month, mostly in Texas, California, and Colorado. The Mutual UFO Network plans to investigate the Stephenville incident.

Fourteen percent of Americans polled last year by The Associated Press say they have seen a UFO. Have you seen one? We would like to know about it! Send us an e-mail to the address listed below.

Legend has it that one of the earliest UFO crashes happened at Aurora, Texas on April 19, 1897.  The result was the burial of the dead pilot not of this world in an unmarked grave at the Aurora cemetery. There is a Texas Historical Commission plaque by the cemetery that mentions the incident. Was this real or a hoax?

In 1957, Levelland, Texas was a UFO sighting by numerous motorists. They saw a glowing egg-shaped object that caused their vehicle's engines to shut down. When the unidentified flying object moved away, the motorists vehicles restarted and worked normally as before.

In 1980, Dayton, Texas was a witness to a huge diamond-shaped UFO about the size of the Dayton water tower. This UFO even irradiated three witnesses. Military helicopters where investigating the area soon after. This incident resulted in a lawsuit but after years of litigation, the case was dropped in court.

Here are some interesting books on the subject that you might want to read!
